Fondata nel 2006 ad Agno e trasferita nel 2010 in Lugano, a pochi minuti di cammino dal Museo d’Arte LAC, Perlartecontemporanea presenta artisti di fama internazionale con un numero contenuto di opere a fronte di un abbondante supporto divulgativo e storico-critico. Libri, video, visite guidate ed incontri con curatori ed artisti generalmente accompagnano le mostre. Opere di Jaume Plensa, Arthur Duff, Mirco Marchelli sono visibili in modo permanente negli spazi comuni e nel giardino dell'attiguo Hotel De La Paix.

Perlartecontemporanea was founded in Agno in 2006. In 2010 it moved to Lugano, a few minutes away from the Art Museum and the LAC Museum. It aims at presenting a limited amount of works of internationally known artists, backed by vast historical, critical and informative support. Exhibitions are usually enriched by books, videos, guided tours and opportunities to meet the curators and artists. Jaume Plensa's, Arthur Duff's, Mirco Marchelli's works may permanently be seen on the ground floor and in the garden of the nearby Hotel De La Paix.
